Club members can often be seen hanging from brightly coloured holds
at several indoor climbing walls around London.
We find that indoor walls provide very good experience to equip us for climbing outside.
Experience such as how to use spinning holds and what to do when we find a row of alphabet
shaped jugs on Stanage Edge.
We also find that it is a great place to meet people who are interested in our club and are interested in
sampling the delights of climbing. Please contact our membership secretary if you wish to meet us at an
indoor climbing wall. Each wall session is usually followed by a well earned pint.
Our 'local' wall is Craggy Island. Our membership secretary can normally be found climbing here on Tuesday evenings, and on some Thursday evenings.
Craggy Island is one of a growing collection of climbing walls that have sprung up in and around the London area. Our climbing links page gives details of the main ones.
